Watermelon Fertilization Suggestion
FERTILIZATION TIMES
The timing of applying fertilizers to the soil varies depending on the soil, climate and the plant grown. Soil significantly affects the application time of fertilizer with its physical, chemical and biological properties. The essential thing is to have plant nutrients in sufficient quantities and in balanced proportions in the immediate vicinity of the roots during seed germination. This is the most important measure that can be taken as a basis in determining the fertilization time. Otherwise, the success expected from fertilization may not be very high. In this regard, it is not possible to recommend a standard calendar for fertilizer application time. Because even if soil properties do not change, climatic events can change every year. However, the application of the basic nutritional elements nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is essential for all plants.
