How to use worm castings?
Vermicompost can be used in all kinds of agricultural production, new plantings, open field plantings, vegetables and fruits, garden plants, garden and balcony vegetable growing and lawn areas. Worm compost does not contain any harmful microorganisms or disease-causing substances. It alone can meet all the nutritional elements needed by the soil and the plant. Vermicompost can also be used in liquid form. This use is mostly applied to plant stems and leaves. It can be used on both new plantings and established plants. The worm compost left over after use can be stored for a long time by closing the package, without losing any value or content.
Vegetables
- Apply 1-2 handfuls into the seedling pit when planting or between the rows after planting.
- On your planted vegetables, open in a circle at a distance of 15-20 cm from the trunk. A single layer of fertilizer is applied into the pit so that the soil is not visible. The separated soil is applied again by covering it with fertilizer. Then irrigation is done.
- Provides up to 50% efficiency increase.
- It reduces seed cost by increasing seed germination energy by up to 40%.
- It provides 10-15 days early seedling formation and early harvest.
- Because it is ecological, vegetables have original color, aroma and taste.
Fruits
- In new plantings, approximately 800 g is applied to the seedling/sapling pit by contacting it directly with the root during planting. It is covered with soil and then watered. This ensures that microorganisms remain in a moist environment and multiply.
- It provides fast and strong sapling development.
- Provides 100% successful transplantation (surprise).
- Fruits are harvested 10-15 days early.
- It ensures that the fruits are larger, with original morphology, aroma and taste.
- It provides fruits with ecological, clean, carcinogenic-free properties with high vitamin and nutritional values.
Trees
- In adult fruit trees and saplings, the shadow projection (crown projection) line is dug in a circle at a depth of 15-20 cm. Fertilizer is placed in this pit according to its diameter (2 kg if the shade diameter is 2 m, 4 kg if it is 4 m). The soil separated to the side is covered over again. Then irrigation is done.
Viticulture
- In new plantings, it is applied to the sapling pit during planting. It is applied by mixing it into the soil between rows after planting.
- It ensures rapid and healthy development of plant roots.
- Early harvest of grapes ensures that quality and original products enter the market early.
- It provides species-specific aroma and flavor.
- It is applied by scattering it on the soil before planting.
- Provides 40-70% efficiency increase
- It preserves the nutrient content of the soil throughout the year.
- It enables the synthesis of 15-45% high levels of starch.
Tobacco and Tea
- It is applied by scattering it under the soil before planting tobacco.
- It is applied to the root pit during planting in tea. Or it is applied at the recommended doses by sprinkling from the top after planting.
Grass
- It is applied by sprinkling at the recommended dose.
- It allows them to be very strong, durable and grow quickly.
- It prevents the grass from turning yellow.
- It reduces seed cost by increasing germination efficiency.
Potted and Balcony Plants
- In balcony gardening and all other ornamental plants; The soil surface of the pot is removed by scraping a thin layer. Fertilizer is placed in such a way that the soil is not visible as much as the pot soil surface area. The separated soil is spread on fertilizer again and watered.
